Beautiful!
A reader with simply a casual curiousity about Buddhism stands to gain much from this work. It makes a wonderful "starter" for anyone seeking connectedness and contentment within themselves and the world around them.

The holistic nature of life - expalined beautifully.
Thich Nhat Hanh speaks from the heart. He says only what is needed. He speaks in the most comprehensible way- a way I did not imagine was possible. He is obviously not trying to prove anything that is not known. Having been on a retreat with him, I know that he writes from experience. He does not believe what he writes; he lives it, through mindful living. This book could change the way you think and live- only for the better of all.

I still cannot believe that anyone was able to explain emptiness in such a beautiful fashion. I honestly cried with joy while I read this book. Please read it!
