It makes sense and I have found that it works too!
At first I was a little 'taken back' by the approach of Mr Gorman's book, he does throw everything at you - rather quickly too - with the odd 'typo' to boot. But the content, the ideas, the examples and suggestions are ALL brilliant and helped me wake-up to the obvious and some not so obvious. The concept works at every level - very focusing and very refreshing.
This Will Create A Torrent of Sales
My father introduced this book to me and since then I've bought it or recommended it to every person that's ever talked to me or asked me advice on running their own business. In a nutshell Paul Gorman gives you the ingredients to formulate and carry out so many ideas for your business. I sat reading the book with a pad of A4 next to me on which I wrote one line ideas of how the methods could be applied to my business. By the time I'd finished I had over 7 pages of bullet points and when I expanded those I had enough ideas to keep me busy for months. Best of all though, the advice DOES work. My marketing spend didn't increase but the Return on Investment increased ten fold and sometimes more. Start small and when the idea works then you can afford to try bigger adverts which work even better. Its the best advice you'll ever get.

Paul's ideas, strategies and tactics are quite similar to Jay Abraham's. But none the worse for that and give a different (and probably uniquely British) perspective on the common direct marketing issues.
