Customer Reviews
Owners of all equines should read this book.
The contents of this book are essential knowledge for anyone wanting a better understanding of the five element theory as applied to horses. The meridians and acupressure points are clearly explained for the lay person as well as those with more understanding. The book gives details of specific points to work for certain conditions as well as how to assess a horse's overall condition. Some of the things revealed may come as a surprise. If a horse wears shoes for example it is often found that they have cold legs from the hock/knee down. Short of removing the shoes, points to work to help restore chi flow are given and really do work. I would recommend that anyone who has their horses natural welfare in mind reads and rereads this book many times.
Invaluable
I am in the same position as J S Comber and cannot recommend this book highly enough for anyone involved in complimentary equine therapies. My only wish is that it was published with a spiral binder for ease of reading!
A must have book
I am currently studying Equine Shiatsu and found this book was excellent for clarifying specific points and areas. Although it is about acupressure, it has been of enormous value to supporting my work. Clear illustrations and concise text make it an easy read and a comprehensive guide whether you are a practitioner or not.
