Effortless . . . indeed
Yeah, the thing about style books is that we like to look at photos. This little guide is full of interesting tips and feel-good advice; it could benefit from an update with realistic illustrations. (Fat or thin, top-heavy or pear-shaped, batwing arms, cellulite thighs, middle-aged or old, you'll only find drawings of ultra-tall, Hollywood size-0, 20 year old women here.) Annoying. It's quite a good book, but there are far better ways of dealing with real people, as Clinton Kelly and Stacy London prove in Dress Your Best.
