About the Author
Tom Morton is one of Scotland's best known writers and broadcasters. Currently presenter of BBC Radio Scotland's afternoon weekday show, he is whisky correspondent for The Scots Magazine and a frequent contributor to newspapers and magazines worldwide. Author of seven published books, previous winner of Bank of Scotland press award for columnist of the year, and sometime crofter, Tom lives in a remote corner of the Shetland Islands.

I remember this guy on the telly a number of years ago, and came across this unexpectedly....very very funny, and surprisingly well written.It would be worth following the trail!

A great read
Having read a copy of this a few years ago i recently rediscovered it & brought a copy. It really is a good read & you almost feel at times your sitting in the sidecar on his travels getting thoroughly drenched into the bargain ! he brings it all to life & not only that but you really do learn about the art, myths & rubbish that go hand in hand with the world of whisky. Buy ,read & go on the journey !!so much better than Raw Spirit .
