Good for The Environment and Your Wallet
As an interior designer, environmentalist and advocate for creativity, I give Junk Beautiful: Room by Room Makeovers with Junkmarket Style by Sue Whitney and Ki Nassaue five stars!

From an environmental point of view, nothing is greener than using unwanted or discarded items for two reasons. One, you aren't taxing resources (renewable or not) and two, you keep stuff out of landfill.

The reader is encouraged to buy their own "junk" with the beautiful photographs taken by Douglas Smith. Whitney and Nassaue are brimming with great decorating ideas and projects.

I love that the authors encourage the reader to create their own style of decorating. They speak with different homeowners to discover their dreams and hopes for their homes and then transform them into reality.

There are clear instructions for about 30 terrific projects in the book.

The authors' enthusiasm is contagious and I'm thinking about starting a project of my own!

Recycle interior design bible!
This is the best book on recycled and repurposed interiors. The authors have an impecable taste in style and original ideas in their projects. All the projects and designs presented are beautiful. There is nothing boring to be found. If you're into interiors made from repurposed materials (or if you just like old wood and metal things) this is the book to buy! I also love the fact that this book costs half of all other interior books on the market. Thank you so much for the authors! 5 stars.
