The GPS Bible5
This book is the most comprehensive GPS reference I have ever read. Written by developers of the GPS, the book started with historical background of GPS. Then, it deals with all aspects of GPS: system components, signal architecture and processing, mathematical models. Strong emphasis has been given to the GPS positioning accuracy: several mathematical models for accuracy improvement have been described. A very comprehensive analysis of space weather, ionospheric, tropospheric and environmental (multipath, folliage) impacts are considered in depth and very well illustrated with references. Final chapters analyse extreme application conditions where such events like relativistic dynamics should be considered. I recomend the book not only to the GPS application designers, but to scientists, researchers, GIS and IT engineers, and certainly to the students of this fascinating area.
