Nice book for the knitting beginner
This book comes as a spiral bound hardback and is attractively produced on good quality paper with well laid out illustrations and textual instructions. I must say I was impressed at the beautiful hand knitting displayed in the sample photographs.
It covers a wide range of methods of casting on and off, several different ways of increasing and decreasing as well as buttonholes, buttonhole bands and a variety of ways of sewing up in different situations.
The book would be ideal for the beginner wishing to consolidate and improve his or her knitting skills and I like the way the author provides a list of pros and cons for each technique discussed.
