I dare you not to get addicted!
I bought this book for my 8 year old daughter who is into crafty type things as I thought it might be a useful activity for the Summer Holidays.From the moment she opened the book she was hooked (so was I and her 5 year old sister!).
Although the beads are tiny, the beadlings are small and do not take very long to make. After a bit of parental supervision, she started making her own and by the end of the day (!!) had a collection of damselflies, jewelled bugs, bees, angels etc. She's planning to give them away to her friends as presents she's made so many.
I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone (adults and children!)

Fantastic book
A brilliant book, with very clear and very well illustrated diagrams to show you exactly how to make lots of insects and more, all shown step by step. My favourite items are the butterfly and dragonfly, they are gorgeous when made up. And the best bit is that the book comes complete with all the beads you need for the projects as well as a few larger beads and 2 small reels of wire, so you dont even have to go out to the shops. Each project is shown step by step so you cant go wrong, and it also shows you variation to the design so you can make your own colour combination/design and personalise it to suit. Would make a perfect present for anyone who likes making things with their hands, children will love this although with small beads parents must be cautious with young ones, as it is not suitable for under 3's.

hours of fun
This is great for anyone who is good with fiddly things. The results are very impressive and I strongly recommend it for age 8 and up. If you can't manage tiny beads (or if you can't find your glasses) try Beadimals in the same series, same idea only bigger.
