excellent
This is an excellent book. I adore this book it is one of my firm favourites. The designs are easy to follow and you can find the crystals on the internet. Most of the designs are in 6mm and and 4mm bicones and you will need fire polish beads too. The hardest items that I had to find were crystal buttons (fuchsia set) but I managed it and the result was beautiful...
The book is one of those rare commodities in life.... worth its weight in gold. I just wished there was another to follow on with more bracelets.Favourite bracelet was Enchanted, I did this in a pale lavender and opague white for a wedding.
A Real Treat
This book is a real treat and a joy to read. I thought it was going to be another coffee table type book when it arrived but the projects are lovely. The photographs are stunning and all the projects are workable by both the novice and more experienced beader. Most of the components can be purchased from on line suppliers in the UK which makes such a difference. My only criticism would be that I think there are too many rings in the the book and not enough necklaces. Some of the ring patterns could be adapted as pendants but I would still like to see more crystal laden necklaces. Perhaps this could be in the pipeline if the author decides to produce another book of this type. I would want to be first on the list to buy it.
