Customer Reviews
Acrylic Heaven
Jerry Yarnell is a sincere American painter who has a style of his own on tv and in print. There are not that many painters out there presenting acrylic painting techniques which is a shame. Jerry is therefore very welcome and his books take the form of a dozen or so paintings with lots of stage by stage photos which are essential as there is not a great deal in the way of basic information about getting started. Probably not best for the complete beginner, but there are lots of paintings to inspire you. Not quite as good as his first book in the series, it is nonetheless a book to encourage you to have a go, which is no bad thing. Paintings include various mountain scenes, bright sunsets, a squirrel and a bird on a post. Not easy, but worthwhile.
