Product Description
Jan Belliveau shows readers how to give flea market finds new life or transform unfinished pieces into fabulous and fun focal points for their home. Included among the 10 projects is a rocking chair with flourishes of roses and violets, perfect for the nursery or a shady patio. A black painted desk and slightly aged chair, painted and finished with a glaze, look truly antique. For the avid gardener, a potting table can be created from a vintage sewing machine cabinet - the top opens to reveal a real sink. Also included are a floral footstool finished with a sponging technique, a functional tray table decorated with a wispy wreath, and an old-fashioned wash stand with an up-to-date design. Full colour photos, step by step instructions and patterns make it easy to paint these unique pieces for anyone's home.
