Does what it says on the tin
Ponchos: you love them or hate them. This book shows off some really beautiful and wearable poncho designs, even for the most fashion conscious knitters. It was a real eye opener for me to see the idea of a basic poncho explored in so many varying and inspiring ways. The patterns range from dramatic and oversized to delicate and flowing. The great thing about a ponco is you only need to make one or two pieces and they are very simple to construct. Great book for beginners or people with limited skills that are looking to practice and experiment a little. There is a section on how to alter the designs so you can 'have it your way'. This includes adding a hood, making a capelet and even knitting a poncho for your pooch! If you think ponchos are best left in the 70s then take a peek at this book as it may just change your mind.
