Naruto is a ninja-in-training with a need for attention, a knack for mischief, and sealed within him, a strange, formidable power. His antics amuse his instructor Kakashi and irritate his teammates, intense Sasuke and witty Sakura, but Naruto is serious about becoming the greatest ninja in the village of Konohagakure! Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura have passed the final test to become junior ninja - but now the real challenge begins. Tired of menial tasks, the young ninja ask for a tougher assignment and find themselves - together with their teacher, Kakashi - bodyguarding a cranky old man from the Land of the Waves. But Tazuna the bridgebuilder is in more danger than anyone realizes: he's the target of elite ninja assassins, including Zabuza, 'the demon,' and our heroes are about to face a trial by fire...

An excellent manga
The Naruto series has finally been translated for the western audience, and 'The Worst Client' represents the second volume of the series.
I can't recommend this manga enough, most fans of manga will already be familiar with Narutos engaging characters and philosophical storylines. But for those who have yet to experience this quality manga, I thoroughly recommend it.
As usual with western translations, some of the meaning has been lost through translation. But this is something that manga readers have come to expect over the years. However seemingly simple translations have been taken out of context with the original meaning. For example; 'Kage Bunshin no Jutsu' which when roughly translated with my limited knowledge('Kage=Shadow', 'Bunshin=split/duplicate/copy', 'Jutsu=art/technique') means 'Shadow Replication Technique'. This has now become 'Art of the Doppelganger' in the western translation. I can't help but feel that this has been translated by someone who is not familiar with the series. However it is easy to overlook most of these translation choices, and indeed for the newcomer to the series, these will not even be noticed.
Naruto is a great manga series, and I thoroughly recommend this western translation of what is currently the most popular ninja manga in Japan.
Action packed ninja fun!
This continues from the first books cliff hanger well and quickly gets you thinking. Volume 2 is very clever in the way Naruto and the gang have to complete missions. We get introduced to some new characters, but none of them are to impressive except for a very strange character called Zabuza. The only problem with volume 2 is that the brilliant humour from the 1st volume seems to have disapeared. Never the less this edition makes up for it with a great fight scene at the end. No cliff hanger though means that this is a worthy addition to your collection, but sadly not quite as good as the first.
More ninja maddness
It has to be said that i am a *huge* fan of this series. It has heart and soul as well as a lot of fighting and very well drawn illustrations. Unlike alot of mangas i feel involved with these characters. I love this book, the group become more of a team and although they still all snap at each other you can see their friendships growing as they do. This is fantastic go buy it now!! :)
