Excellent value for money!!!
This in an excellent book if you are looking for ideas for decorating your living room. Like the title says, the book features 101 different living rooms. The layout is simple, each living room is given a double page, the page on the right consists of a photo of the living room and the page on the left contains a description of that room under 4 or 5 headings, such as "the look", "colour", furniture", "accessories". The living rooms are divided into 6 chapters: Contemporary, Country, Laid-back, Classic, Creative and Around the World with roughly 15-20 living rooms per chapter, so there is something to suit everyone. Unlike some books, the living rooms shown are not too arty-farty or way-out! They are all in very good taste and are attainable for the average person, who has a bit of style and likes to make a bit of effort. My only complaint is that the book is quite small, and therefore the photos are small (13.5cm x 15.5cm) Having said that, there is a lot packed into each photo, and they are taken from such an angle that you get quite a good view of the room. This book is great value for money. In fact I'm planning to buy the whole series!
