A real insight in to Luke Skywalker, Jedi and the Dark Side
Wow! This comic really blew me away!!! Im actually not much of an American comic fan (prefer Japanese comics) however I am a big Star Wars Fan. Although Luke Skywalker looks a little muscley at times and Princess Leia a little too manly the storyline is great, the dialogue fairly clever and the imagery beautiful! Every good comic/Star Wars fan should have a copy of this in their collection.
Absolutely great!!!
This is the first part of the Dark Empire trilogy, which also include Dark Empire 2 and the smaller Empire's End. The story is just great and it gives insight to what happened after Thrawn had died in Zahn's books. Cam Kennedy's drawings are wild, and they're even better in Dark Empire 2. The only problem I have with it is that it's too short. But overall it's a really great classic!
Absolutely Essential for a Star Wars fan
I read so many of the books in the star wars universe and kept hearing mentions of the Emperors return and Lukes turning to the dark side. This has it all! All the answers and a return to the magic of the original star wars film Possibly the best star wars literature I have read since Timothy Zahns Empire Trilogy!
