Fantastic series
This series is an incredible blend of stunning artwork, detailed fantasy plot and romance. It is yet another of those korean manhwa series whose intricate and emotional plot lines keep you turning the pages even whilst you long to linger over the astounding beauty of the art.
The Bride of the Water God is an interesting take on Korean folklore and displays an incredible combination of originality, with a plot line that is amply augmented by character development throughout. Whilst this is 'shoujo' it does not rely on the traditional stereotypes often found in other shoujo manga and this makes the characters more interesting and believable.
Highly recommended!
