Another good book on Heathenism
Written from a Heathen perspective, this is one of the best books on the subject. The contents are well researched and are factual concerning what is ancient tradition and modern invention. Covered are the Runes, Soul Lore, Afterlife, Gods and Goddesses plus other wights, Yggdrasil, Seidr/Spa, Mound Sitting and Utesita, Sacredness, Thews of various Asatru/Heathen communities and the social structures of these groups. On the down side are the high number of spelling mistakes and some of the chapters could be written in more depth concerning the Rites and Blots so the reader would be able to construct their own methods within a traditional framework with more meaning to them. Still a very good book for the beginner and advanced student to find out their place in the scheme of heathenism. One of the best on the subject, Recommended.
