Synopsis
The Silver Dragon is a myth, so they say. But legends are often born from life. When Brienna Rhoswen sets out to find the man she has given a blood vow to marry, she never anticipates falling in love with the handsome rogue warrior. Brogan Torrick has avoided his betrothed for one reason-fear. Rumored she's a Mystic Healer, his prejudice rules his emotions. To garner an ally against an enemy, his father however, binds him into a marriage contract with the sorceress. Meeting as strangers, Brogan believes he's never seen a more beautiful and deadly messenger. On the journey, they struggle with an attraction they think is forbidden to them until they learn each other's identity. Only their love may not be enough to keep them together and a drop of blood from the Silver Dragon may doom all Kingdoms if their enemy gets hold of the Sword of Rhoswen. WARNING: This book contains hot, explicit sex between two people explained in graphic language.

Magic, action and hot romance4
It has been over a year since her father signed a treaty and gave her hand in trust to Lord Torrick's son, yet Brienna Rhoswen of Avalbane has failed to hear from her husband to-be despite the messages she's sent. Now with her father dead, the new Queen understands that her marriage is essential in order to stop her cousin Thane from taking over the lands of Avalbane. Yet Brienna is not your typical Queen. With a steely determination, well honed sword skills and a secret ability to heal, she dresses as a peasant and sets out to locate her erstwhile fiancé; hoping to either force his hand to ensure her peoples protection or dissolve their marriage contract; allowing her to search for another powerful alliance.

Hunted by her cousin, Brienna (aka Brie) falls under the protection of Brogan, the leader of a small mercenary group. Falling in love, the pair remains oblivious to each other's identities; Brienna the Queen of Rhoswen and Brogan, the son of Lord Torrick and her unknown betrothed.

This pair certainly try to put up a struggle against their mutual attraction, fighting the feelings they think are forbidden to them yet still snatching brief yet extremely passionate moments when they can. Their red hot romance is skilfully woven into an exciting story line, as Brogan battles to protect the feisty Lass he has fallen in love with despite knowing she's more than capable of holding her own in a fight. Yet Brogan cannot dispel the prejudices he holds against those that bear the Rhoswen name and freely vocalises them to Brie; forcing her to dissolve their marriage contract and take another to ensure the safety of Brogan and his people as well as her own.

My first introduction to BW proved fruitful, as this entertaining author has a few more interesting looking fantasy romance novels in print that I intend to check out as well as plenty of contemporary romances. I highly enjoyed "Sword of Rhoswen" and I look forward to reading more of this author's works
