Holiday guide
The book arrived later than estimated delivery date, while on the holiday for which it was ordered. It was returned to Amazon and a full refund promptly paid.

Could Be Better
This guide has its limitations. The street map is hopeless with few of the streets which are marked, named. Strangely the street map from Tourist Info has the same layout but most of the streets are named! There is a reference to a super temple near the Golden Temple and the guide says is a gentle 10 to 15 minute walk This may be true if you are Usain Bolt. There is a regular bus which goes from outside the Golden Temple to this temple but is not mentioned.
The main criticism I have is that it seems if there is a subway station near one of the sights this is given, but not the number of any bus which may also go there. Also it would be useful if the number of all buses which visit a sight was given not just the ones which start at Kyoto station.
Overall the guide was OK when used in conjunction with street and bus maps from the very helpful Tourist info offices.

Book fell apart
The contents of the book were OK - but the book fell apart after the first couple of days of my trip. Bit disappointing really.
