Windows Vista can be extremely frustrating at times. Often, it will simply refuse to do what you ask it, or do things that you don't want it to. While Windows Vista Tips & Tricks in easy steps may not have the answer you are looking for, there is a good chance that it does.
The book takes all the most common problems that users experience and puts them together in one easy-to-understand reference source. Want to get rid of those irritating Balloon Tips? Go back to 640 x 480 resolution, even though Microsoft officially eliminated that option? Speed up your Start menu? Shut down in one click instead of several? It's all here.
Need to hide your web-browsing tracks? Want to turn off that cool AutoComplete feature that remembers your credit card number and will spit it out whenever you (or someone else) requests it? Keep your passwords safe in case you forget them? You'll find all this here, too.
Windows Vista Tips & Tricks in easy steps is a tweaker's paradise and there are loads of tips to help you customize your work and play environment. The book also shows you how to optimize the performance of your PC. Great tips. Great deal
