About the Author
Lauren Child won the Smarties Bronze Award 1999 for Clarice Bean, That's Me. The same title was also Hig Commended for the Kate Greenway Medal. Lauren has also worked as an assistant to Damien Hirst and run her own company designing lampshades. Lauren lives in North London.
