About the Author
Tony Langham wrote his first poem at the age of seven. During his career he has worked as a steel-worker, construction worker, nurse, advertising copywriter and primary school teacher. After thirty years Tony decided to become a full-time writer and now writes stories, plays and poems for children of all ages and travels around the UK giving performances in schools. He is married with small children and lives in Yorkshire. Debbie Harter was born and raised in England, and she currently lives in Penzance, Cornwall. She has participated in all kinds of artistic ventures, creating jewelery, textiles, ceramics, mirrors and candles. The music with this CD is brilliant!
This is a fantastic book and the accompanying CD is amazing.
I'm a supply music teacher and I've used this with children as young as 3! Today I introduced it to a class of 8 year olds who all moaned that it looked too babyish for them.
Two minutes later they were transfixed!
It's great for introducing children to calypso music and to different instruments. It makes you want to book that holiday to the Caribbean!
Can't praise this book and CD highly enough!

it's ok
If you want something fun to sing and dance to with your kids, this is NOT the book for you. The 'Animal Boogie' book is much better for that.

Creepy Crawly Calypso
Creepy Crawly Calypso.
I'm a primary school teacher and this book is good for enhancing activtiies aboout minibeasts. The chhildren enjoyed dancing to the music on the CD although they found it quite hard to sing along at first as this is quite fast for little ones. There is scope for lots of counting in the book and matching different instruments to the sounds they make.
