The perfect gift for book worms
Visually this is a beautiful book - on the outside, a lilac cloth spine, beautifully illustrated cover with elasticated ribbon page holder. Inside the beauty continues, photographs of books, illustrations, quotes. I spent the first week of ownership wondering whether it was a sin to write in it! The concept of the book is excellent. It contains different sections for all your reading needs - a place to write books recommended to you, a section on books lent and borrowed and, the key section, a place to list and write notes on the books you have read. I have only had this book 2 months and already I'm addicted, I'm speeding up reading so I can write my notes in this beautiful book. I have purchased these as gifts for my sister and cousin and they were both delighted with them. If you are a bookworm too, you won't be disappointed!

A book for every book lover
I love this book, hard back but with an internal spiral spine, it is complete joy for all book lovers. With sections that allow you to record not only notes on the books you have enjoyed or otherwise, but also books that you want to read in the future and best of all a section for the books you have loaned to friends (and if you're like me these are the ones you rarely see again - the books that is, not the friends). There are pockets for reviews and other snippets and delightful illustrations and quotes. I have shown mine to two other book lovers and they have to have their own copies very quickly. Buy one now, you won't regret it.

Wonderful for Book Lovers
I had wanted to buy a book journal for some time when I came across the Book Notes Journal from Ryland Peters & Small.

It is spiral bound which makes it easy to write in and is divided into different sections such as 'books I want to read', 'favourite quotes' and 'book notes' which is the largest section. Each section has a divider and is beautifully decorated with photos and quotes from a variety of books/authors.

I bought it about 9 months ago and have loved writing in it since then. I am a member of a book club and find it useful to jot down notes and questions for the group in this book so I can remember things I may otherwise forget!

It's quite a big book so you couldn't really carry it round in your handbag, but I've read and reviewed about 15 books in it so far and there's still plenty of room. This would make a lovely gift for a friend or present to yourself if you want to keep a record of your book life. I thoroughly recommend it.
