Editorial Reviews

Review
The book starts with a brief history of the technique and how it was eventually used with cotton and wool thread in latter times. As with all of Search Press' books, the colour photographs used to illustrate the steps taken for the various techniques are clear and easy to understand as none of the work is hidden or confusing at any point. I was pleased to see how it progressed from what tools you need, practice sections, to building up and progressing to what look like harder pieces but, if you work through the book are easily achievable. What you do need is patience but the results are definately rewarding and I can see how lovely pieces of work reflecting nature can be created. --Pentacle, Samhain, Winter 2007, Issue 23
