About the Author
Writer and photographer Paul Harcourt-Davies lived and worked in Cyprus from 1978 to 1981 and has been there every year since, either leading tours for his specialist travel company Hidden World or through involvement in conservation projects. His 11 books include Globetrotter guides to Rhodes and the Greek Islands.

Look for another book instead!!
What a disappointment! This book doesn't reflect the real cyprus at all. The pictures point you towards a rustic, basic place, not the popular tourist resort the island actually is. Although places of interest were discussed there were no directions given, and no real information about things you would genuinely need to know. We based alot of our expectations of our holiday on the info this book provides, and whilst we had a wonderful time, the Cyprus we saw, and enjoyed was not accurately represented here. It is as if the author is harking back to a long ago experience of the island, and what is presented here fails ot be truly relevant .Please look around for something else, and get another book!!
