Average customer review:Product Description
Take a trip into the dark, surreal world of a little dead girl with a knack for (often) unintentional mayhem in this first instalment of a goth-tinged new series! Lenore might only be small, but her talent for mischief - and occasional wanton destruction - is anything but. Featuring stories about limbless cannibals, clock monsters, cursed vampire dolls, taxidermied friends, an obssesed would-be lover and more fuzzy animal mutilations than should be legal, never has the term 'something for everyone' seemed more sinister and bizarre. A huge cult hit in the US and set to follow the same trajectory in the UK, Lenore is one of the funniest, darkest, cutest, creepiest characters on the marketplace today.

Editorial Reviews
Review
"[Dirge] can take subject matter that is in some ways very dark, but he can add a sly element of humor that transforms it and elevates it." -- Larry Wilson, writer of Beetle Juice and The Addams Family
Review
"Roman Dirge has the best imagination this side of Tim Burton"

Lenore: Noogies
Roman Dirge's 'Lenore' is instantly addictive - managing to be both cute and homicidal, Lenore's world is a stumble away from ours and is inhabited by vampires cursed to inhabit small toys and romatic admirers who are very very hard to get rid off... You'll want to re-read it all as soon as you've got to the end!
Darkly Adorable
I bought this as a birthday present for someone and almost kept it for myself. It is magical in the darkest way possible. There are some side stories like "Pop Goes the Weasel" which is a brilliant retelling of the original rhyme, but I think Lenore steals the show. This book is laugh aloud funny so be careful if you are reading it in public!
lenore
great book, a must for any roman dirge fans.
my only complaint is that it was over too quickly
