This is a fun book - great text and great illustrations!
Lima's Red Hot Chilli is a great story to read to individual children and to large groups of children. The repetitive text and exciting illustrations make children engrossed in the story line and 'What will happen next?' All children and adults know the temptation of trying out something which they are told not to and having to live with the consequences.The great thing about the story is the attempts made by all the family to help Lima and the problem solving aspect is of value to teachers wanting to encourage children to make guesses and try things out.An added bonus is the way the publishers have printed the text in many different languages. It is a must for every Early Years Setting and for families to have fun together reading.

A great episode book that links to childhood experiences
