Touching, funny and informative all at once!
I bought this book before I met Peter Gurney and was delighted by its contents. It offers a no nonsense guide to the many cavy varieties, but demonstrates that the not-so-perfect specimens make just as good (if not better!) pets. Peter's genuine affection comes through every line and I challenge anyone to read the story of Pearl the Silver Agouti with a dry eye.
By the way, my own piggy's father is in the book -- Mungo!
Peter Gurney 'strikes again'!
This is THE book for any guinea pig fanatic - filled with lovely photos and amusing and sometimes tear-jerking anecdotes. A must for any GP or Peter Gurney fan!
