Some of the most famous pictures of Marilyn5
This book was written by Norman Rosten, with photographs from Sam Shaw. Norman was considered to be one of Marilyn's closest friends, and has written a lovely account of Marilyn's experiences through the photos of Sam Shaw.
The photos are easily the high point of this book, with very famous pictures of Marilyn, including THAT skirt blowing scene from The Seven Year Itch, those of her in a white dress in a park and in a white swimsuit at the beach. There are shots of her applying make up and meeting with her Hollywood friends, as well as being at publicity events. The photos are gorgeous, and are a reminder of just how beautiful Marilyn really was.
