A helpful book when exploring getting nearer to God.
This book helps me to focus on things like silence, love, freedom. De Mello talks wisely about these issues and uses many short, relevant tales to accompany his teaching. He provides concrete suggestions to help with the concepts dealt with and it's focus is to enable one to draw nearer to God.

A must read - read it after "Awareness"
"Awareness" by Anthony de Mello is the best book I have ever read. "Walking on Water" is the second best book I have ever read. This book tells you how to live a life of peace and happiness.

"Walking on Water" is hard hitting, concise and to the point. De Mello does not pull his punches. Here you have the route to God. I am now reading it for the third time.

I highly recommend this book.
