Customer Reviews

Very useful reference5
My main source of information - lots of background and explanation but the most useful condensed section at the back - practical and concise info on planting, management, harvest and storing by vegetable type.

Excellent for the professional grower5
This is the number one resource for students on the Biodynamic Organic Agriculture Training at Emerson College - it contains all information about creating and maintaining soil fertility, crop rotations, use of manures, mechanical weed control, gross margins plus individual cultivation descriptions for the 30-odd most important crops. Excellent if you (are trying to) make a living out of small or large scale vegetable production - this book suits both the 2 acre gardener as well as the 20 ha producer. Highly recommended.
