Thank you Christine Harris for your exciting book.It is just the type of book that I have been looking for for a long time and with the help of AMAZON.CO.UK I have found it at last! You have given an interesting range of threads and other resources which I shall experiment with. I am truly amazed at the scope of the French Knot and how it can be used to "paint" pictures. The colour plates are brilliant paticularly "My work bench". Its' just like mine complete with the endless cups of black tea. I have just returned another book to Amazon entitled "Wild Flower Embroidery" as I was not impressed with it at all as the flowers were specifically Australian and of very little use to me.Yet I find that I can relate to your book and also another Australian book called "Embroidered garden flowers" by Diana Lampe. I am going to use your book in conjunction with this book and Sue Newhouses book "Creative Hand Embroidery" for designing and embroidering scenes and gardens of the Sussex countryside.I await your next book. I do hope that you are thinking about another.
