I strongly recommend this book to any one wishing to take his/her first steps in watercolour. Not only it provides you with all the tools you need to use, but is lightweight. It is interesting, witty, colourful and extremely easy to use. It will provide good fun for adults and children.

Watercolour for the artistically undiscovered is unlike any other art book! Whereas most have only instructions, and demonstrations, Klutz has made an irresistable book, full of rich colours and thick watercolour paper. The activities really think outside the box, and are fun whilst teaching techniques. The book comes with a set of high quality paints, and I found myself drawn to keep painting, from making little 'smushes' to drafting wet landscapes. This book kept myself and 4 others occupied during a recent skiing holiday, and I would thoroughly recommend it, for both children and adults.

GREAT FOR INTRODUCING KIDS TO WATERCOLOURS
After reading other people comments on the book became very interested. The book has lots of ideas to introduce children to the joys of watercolouring. The simple instructions with bright and colourful pictures means it will appeal to all ages. Great price and makes an idea gift for the novice artist.
