Not for UK1
I purchased this book because it states that it contains all you need to know about all rooves. What it did not state was that this book was American & therefore the roof types do not apply to the UK.

Roofing a quick guide1
Bought this book in October 2003 looking for some guidance. It is designed for the American market.It barely touches on UK styles of roof tiles and tiling.I would not recommend it for anyone with composite tile or concrte tiled roofs.

good for the modern day carpenter4
this book is good for the quick idea for repairing and practical matters in roofing truely for the modern day carpenter. it is a book that i will always have on site for years to come . thank you david schiff brendan mc dermott
