Well written, easy to understand, beautifully printed !
This book makes lith printing understandable; before I managed to get my mitts on a copy, I was intimidated by the process, but Rudman's explanations remove the mystery and add to the enjoyment of lith printing. The illustrations are lovely and I cannot recommend it enough.

Required reading for all lith printers!
Dr Rudman demonstrates in this superb book just what a beautiful and versatile process lith printing can be. Many darkroom workers have considered lith printing to be a "difficult" process, but this book finally lays that idea to rest. For this is not just a book of lovely photographs, it is above all a practical guide which starts by explaining the principles of infectious development, and then takes the reader step by step through the whole process. The review of different printing papers and how they react to the lith process was particularly helpful, as was his discussion of "pepper fogging" and how to avoid it. In summary, if thoughts of lith printing have ever crossed your mind, or if you are an experienced lith printer already, this book is required reading.
