Stephanie Hoppen started out as a dealer in antiquarian books before her love of art won her over and she opened her gallery in London. She is the author of a number of other titles, including Blue & White Living, White on White and The New Curtain Book.

Excellent! Jolly Good Guide for Everybody!
This is an excellent book for anybody who is planning to redecorate their house or simply refreshing a room. It gave me a lot of ideas in terms of colour coordination and what works what doesn't. Great!
