Product Description

Following the success of Kids Learn to Knit, Lucinda Guy and Francois Hall have combined forces again to show young children, from 6 years of age, how to crochet, with the help of Francois Hall s witty animal illustrations: two little mice and a friendly wolf. The book takes children from the very first steps of learning about yarns, to how to make a foundation chain, how to work the basic crochet stitches, such as double, half treble and treble crochet. It explains how to shape crochet and how to work in the round, and how to stitch crochet pieces together. Each stage in the learning process culminates in a simple, brightly coloured project, so young crocheters can test their skills and have fun doing so at the same time.

smashing stuff5
I bought this book after many failed attempts to learn to crochet over the last 20 years, with the intention of giving crochet a final chance and hopefully being able to teach my four year old in future. Success! not only were the instructions and step by step pictures easy to follow and I finally learnt the basics, but my four year old got the bug too!

Good for teaching kids or adults!5
This book has simple easy to follow instructions with pictures and I will use it to teach my Primary School children next term. It also contains some simple easy projects like a bag, pencil case, flower and cat.

Not just for kids!4
I bought this to learn how to crochet. At 53 I needed new skill and this was one I have yet to master. This book is easy to follow. The projects do take patience, which I still haven't got. However my neighbor's grand daughter mastered this over the school holidays. Hope for me yet.
