Say Sheffield Dave!5
Overall, "Sheffield" has a much more varied style of rhythms than its predecessor "Back to the Heavyweight Jam". I even thought Scooter had left ballads behind, and "She's the Sun" surprised me - specially because it's very interesting sounding. Another nice surprise was "Summer Wine", a calm song, with beautiful female vocals accompanying H.P.'s - and definately not techno. But don't think that because of this their techno has lost its power - "I'm Your Pusher" has to be one of the most (if not THE most) catchy, happy and hysterical singles they ever released, with its cool scoottish lil tune. "Where do we Go?" touches more the trance style, but I can assure you wont be able to sit calmly listening to tracks like "Space Cowboy" or that beautiful last song "Cubic".

Dave From Sheffield Is Back In The House!4
To start with, let me just say, anyone with just one rhythmical bone in their body could dance to this album! Scooter seem to have mastered the art of producing "catchy" tunes (such as the infectious Never Slow Down and Don't Gimme The Funk). Their music is so contagious that you hardly notice some of the abysmal lyrics contained within some of the songs ("Everybody start walking in the air...Throw your hands up in the atmosphere" being a prime example). My personal favourite track would definitely have to be I'm Your Pusher, but that's mainly because I heard that song quite a long time ago, so I'm more familiar with it at the moment...But overall, on first listen, I'd have to say that this album is certainly worthy enough to stand proud amongst the other CDs in my collection! Go buy it!!
