This albums so good I could eat it!
Nekromantix are the perhaps the most underated band ever. They are a truly talented band and are one of the greatest bands it has been my pleasure to listen to! The true quality of the Nekromantix is a force to be reckoned with, and this is shown to the highest standard possible on their latest album 'The Return of the Loving Dead'. With their sound most oftenly reffered to as Psychobilly, Nekromantix took this genre of music to new levels, mainly by changing the original formula of Psychobilly and creating their own unique style and sound that sounded more punk and gothic.

Much like the Misfits, Nekromantix base the themes of their songs around their fascination with Horror films. Return Of the Loving dead is a rare album for the main reason that every song is as good as the last, a rare find in any album & once again proving how talented and powerful this band really are. Who Killed the cheerleader is a perfect song in every way possible, sick & clever lyrics, screaming guitar solos, pacy drumlines and a pulsing bassline. Trick or Treat is a very clever song and is all about my favourite event of the year, Halloween. Haunted Cathouse has one of the greatest endings to a song ever, so amazing it sends a chill down my spine every time i listen to it. These songs are nothing short of amazing...

Return Of the Loving Dead proves that Nekromantix have now reached the height of their long lived career. Return of The Loving Dead is much like a great horror movie, Its clever, thrilling, fun and leaves you wanting more.

pretty damn good
this is a pretty cool album, i first heard who killed the cheerleader on a hellcat sampler, thought it was pretty good and was surprised to find the album ina tiny little record store in france!
The only problem this album faces is some of it gets a bit samey, but its all pretty good, i think there are a couple of let down tracks, but aside from those its a well rounded album, fast catchy songs (see tracks 1-3) and the occaisional slow one (tracks 4 & 12) best song: most definatly "haunted cathouse"

THE best psychobilly album ever...
nekromantix havent written a single bad song for this album. it is in my top 5 albums sitting amonst such legendary bands as the clash and the ramones. if you like punk music at all then buy this album, i am sincerely shocked that this album is so unknown. utterly fantastic, every song will amaze and terrorize you. BUY IT, IT WILL RULE YOUR CD COLLECTION.
