Practical, sturdy and pretty
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 year old daugher and she has worn it non-stop since. In fact the only time she takes it off is for showers and swimming! On a totally practical front the time teacher element really works, she now tells you the time constantly - whether you asked or not. It has a nice stretchy, easily adjustable strap which manages to fit a skinny child wrist really well. Excellent first watch for a girly-girl.

As an ex-primary school teacher I know how hard many children find it to learn to tell the time on an analogue watch and I had had success(well, mostly!) using materials based on the Timex time teacher watches that I had bought for my own children, who are now in their thirties and CAN tell the time, fortunately. My grandaughter is very girly, and I knew she wouldn't be impressed with a watch that wasn't pretty, so I was pleased to find one that combined the good teaching features of the old style Timex teaching watch, with a pretty, floral strap which is a dark enough colour not to show the dirt.

Wrist-watch.
I bought this watch for my 8 year-old grand-daughter as she couldn't tell the time! She learnt in double-quick time with the help of this brilliant little time-piece. It has quite a loud tick which she likes as it helps her get to sleep!! Excellent watch and I highly reccommend it!!!
