CD Description
'Haunted Cities' is the second album from Blink 182's Travis Barker, Rancid's Tim Armstrong, and vocalist Rob Ashton. Sticking to their mix of ska, punk, hip hop and dance, the album sees The Transplants perfecting their unique sound with Ashton and Armstrong sharing more vocals and Barker laying down perfect drum beats. Guest vocals come from Cypress Hill's B-Real and Sen-Dog and heavyweight rappers Boo Yaa Tribe.

Too Much Hip Hop, Not Enough Punk Rock
Hey all, we all remember the first Transplants Cd, it was pretty damn rocking. with some great loops and guitarin from Tim and some blast fast drummin from Travis. However this new albums seems to focus on the Drummin, the loops and the rappin more then the Guitar. this left me with the impression of wheres all the punk rock? i think if ur new to the transplants id go with the first cd.
The Transplants return with another good album
Ive been waiting 3 years for this album to come out and was expecting more of the same of the first album, altough after hearing this album its actually very different, but in a good way. Overall this record is good with fast experimental punk from Tim, Travis and skinhead rob, with some really good tracks, especially American Guns, Doomsday (think trandsplants doing full on 50's rock n roll with trumpets, saxaphones etc) and Not Today. The only let down track is 'Why I cant describe' which is the worst transplants track ever and should have been left off the cd. This Cd definatly shows the transplants are taking experimental punk to new levels, although some may argue it is not punk but to me its still punk. The transplants are a punk band and are helping keep punk alive. I would highly recomend this album to any one who liked the first album but if your new to the transplants get the first album first. PUNX NOT DEAD
Transplants rock
The second album from the transplants rocks, some will say its not punk rock enough, but hey if tims playing it its punk enough for me im not telling tim hes not punk! a wonderful blend of rock n roll, hip hop and husky throat ripping vocals the album builds on the experiments of the last album and does everything the old album does with added hooks and clever use of loops and beats, going that extra mile beyond the boundaries. I love this album for what it is and i hope everyone else does too, if its not punk enough for some its a shame because its a fantastic record from the people who really know what punk rock is. If you want another rancid album this isnt it but keep an open mind and you ll find that the transplants second album is just as good if not better than the first.
