Awful!
We hated this! It is over colourised with overly loud music, sharp edged cartooning, way too busy, fast moving and obnoxious characterisation. We sent it back!

We've been watching CBBC's Horrible Histories shows which, while different periods are mixed into each one (shame), are in stark contrast to this box of cartoon 'dudes' (yuk). The CBBC ones are intelligently fun, funny and gripping. This batch of cartoons is almost unbearable to be around.

However, if you are heavily into PC games, the latest popular children's progamming and loud music (unlike us), you'll probably disagree and love it!

Keep the kids horribly historically enthralled
Great selection of horrible histories-this has kept my son amused for several evenings after school. Fun and educational-good way of learning. It would have been good to know all the titles first, as we doubled on a few discs; but this still worked out to be incredibly good value for money. We particularly enjoyed the Egyptians but all easy to watch again (and again).

Horrible Histories 26 Episide Collection
Horrible Histories is a wonderful series and the movies are great too! They are so popular that I have not been able to get one in my basket for more than twenty- four hours. One of the nice things about Horrible Histories is that they teach kids in a fun way. And kids learn and have fun at the same time.
