Customer Reviews
Solid, Heavy, Powerful and..........oh, too Polished!!!
This album starts off with one of the coolest metal songs ever with heavy head banging riffing, agressive power metal vocals, a catchy solo and yes...an orchestra!! Even the outro is cool displaying Ralf's vocal power. The album charges on with "Rollercoaster" and then the excellent title ballad.
Each song has its on speciality, with not one bad track, you won't regret getting this NOW!
The new drummer replacing Klaus is even better (expect Nick Barker style drum rolls and pace). Check out "Evil Spell".
My only complaint is that the album just does'nt have that instant classic feel about it 'cos the production quality is'nt as gritty like on "Black Sun".
If you like Priest and the more recent style of heavy/power metal bands like HammerFall and Dream Evil then check this out!!
Great Songs, Great Cover, Great Case. Great Band 10/10
1st of all I would like to say that I only just started to like Primal Fear when my best mate showed me this album a few months back and I am simply astonsihed of how absolutuly metal this album is.

3. Seven Seals - 10/10 - One of the greatest slow songs ever.
4. Evil Spell - 8/10 - Starts slow but wait till it kicks in.
5. The Immortal Ones - 8/10 - Good Song.
6. Diabolus - 8/10 - Another Good Song.

BUY NOW SCHEEPERS IS WAITING
Their finest CD to date
Like others I gave Primal Fear a go because I thought that singer Ralf Scheepers was amazing in Gamma Ray - Indeed, I understand he almost got the job in Judas Priest when Rob Halford left. Should you ever hear Gamma Ray's live version of the Priest standard "Exciter" then Scheepers will have sold himself already. Black Sun is regarded as Primal Fear's highlight, and indeed its great album worthy of many stars. Its nowhere near as good as this one. Seven Seals is amazing - Fast and heavy with great melodies and catchy choruses, Scheepers is outstanding as ever. You liked early Helloween, then you liked Gamma Ray - Now its time to switch allegiance once again. Its even better than the latest Dragonforce CD (Inhuman Rampage). You need to hear this.
