not so quiet...
First things first...great album, emotive lyrics and awesome melodies. Quietdrive are one of the best bands this year and this album proves it! Their success so far is well deserved and I'm sure their next release will be even better! But give these guys a listen and come back and buy this album! It'll be the best decision you've ever made!

Whan All That's Left Is You - Quietdrive
A really solid album with a catchy pop/rock influence. Highlights include opener "Rise From The Ashes", the superb cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" that in my opinion, is better than the original (although obviously of a different genre) and the closing semi-acoustic ballad "Both Ways".

The only negatives are that a couple of tracks are filler, with little inspiration or flair, such as "Take A Drink", with its' repetitive chorus and mundane lyrics ("Take a drink with me, whoa, whoa", repeated). The other negative is the albums running time - most tracks are between 2.30-3.00 minutes long, and with only 10 songs it means the album is just over the half hour mark.

Recommended.

What an album!! Really addictive lyrics and amazing melodies could'nt stop playing 'Get Up' infact could'nt stop playing all the tracks, There's not a bad tracks on the whole album it's that good. It's one of those albums that remind you of good memories or weekends away...
