OK but some sound problems
I found the Pama Bluetooth Handsfree carkit to be generally ok, but have also suffered some of the problems noted by other reviewers as regards the drop out of sound - seems to get worse as the battery charge fades, but is ok when fully charged. Pretty good for the price though.

great value kit
Hi just purchased this kit in desperation what with the new legislation about hand held mobiles and the horror stories in the press about deaths caused by people irresponsibly using their phones in the vehicle!!!

To be frank i was not expecting a lot with the low price point and being used to a fully fitted nokia car kit.

But to be honest i was pleasantly suprised, the kits volume is outstanding, the speaker is as loud as any car kit i have ever used and the quality is excellent both at my end and the person i am calling (my missus has called me using it when she borrowed the car)

An added bonus is even though it comes without mains charger my nokia phone charger will charge the unit aswell!!! and the kit is so easy to use (just jump in the vehicle and turn it on and it auto pairs with your bluetooth phone without need to press any buttons). You even get spoken caller id aswell as the number displaying on the screen.

5 out of 5 for Pama, a truely excellent and well thought out product with no downsides whatsoever!!!!

as one reviewer said, other persons voice drops out when pama is low so i now keep my incar charger plugged in and it seems to be ok,as with any bluetooth device they drain batteries really quick so there could be something in it by keeping it charged,and if you do have an old nokia mains charger it does work with the palma 2300,so for the price i think it is very good.
