It’s A Bumpy Road

The first of these is a lumpy and bumpy road for the cars to fly along, enough bumps to make any passengers stomach flip! The cars can pretend to be off road or do stunts.

Off To The Races

talking mack playset nightmare
its was christmas day and my little one wanted talking mack for ages so we bought him it, well he was sooo excited to open it first thing in the morning, went downhill from there. Cant close it up if he wants to just use it in lorry mode so fiddly, very impressed child who is not happy, no is parent i paid £40 in the end for this brand new and what a waste, its not even been touched since xmas morning. Also thought the cars that would come with it be die-cast but these are plastic so i can see these getting broke too!

sad little boy and frustated mummy....
I bought this before Christmas for my little boy who is obsessed by Disney Pixar's Cars movie. I hoped that it would be the present that made his eyes light up....it was, but only for a few minutes.

The playset is really very difficult for little fingers to assemble (and larger/older ones)it has too many loose parts. These parts are near on impossible to reload into the back of the truck. Once you have achieved the finickety 'stuffing' of everything back in, the catch/lock on top of the lorry pops open and you are back to square one....a mess on the carpet and a stressed out £45 poorer adult. It is not well described on any website/shop catalogue. It is not simple and is really an over designed bit of brittle plastic. They tried too hard, and failed.

My son has played with a friends Megablocks mack set....It is durable and fun to costruct....I will be returning the Mack playset on the grounds that it is faulty. It does not stay closed (catch not good enough) and is not fit for small children to play with and have real prolonged fun.The helpful lady at Mattel said that I woul;d be withing my consumer rights to do so......

Let down by this toy
I agree with the majority of the reviews for this toy. My son had watched countless adverts of this toy and was really pleased to receive it on Christmas Day. However, it is very fiddly to use, and definately does not stay together when in lorry mode. If the person who wrote the review saying it was fantastic can tell me where I'm going wrong I would be delighted, but I fear theirs is a fluke. I don't expect this toy to last long if it gets played with at all. And very overpriced, even at the reduced cost of £30 on Amazon. I would not recommend it. I'm sure there are similar versions of the same thing around which are more successful.
