′It offers a straightforward, clear, and practical account of how to establish and maintain partnering and intergrated teamworking relationships.′
CME Dec 2006
From the Publisher
In 1993 Mike was tasked with implementing strategic partnering for the construction development programme of a FTSE 100 leisure organisation. At that time, little information was available on the processes.
After the successful introduction of partnering, Mike left the organisation and, with Gill, set up Mike Thomas Ltd to support other organisations who were developing this approach – contractors, consultants and client organisations in the public and private sectors.
As a result of presenting highly successful training seminars – both direct and through Construction Study Centre – Gill and Mike embarked on this book in order to demystify partnering and provide a highly readable yet thorough explanation of the structured approach required to ensure each partnering organisation gains from the experience.
