Excellent piece of kit
SPEED:
It is very quick - nearly as quick at opening and closing files as a hard drive. 3.5GB took me about 8 minutes.

CASING:
The rubberised casing is pretty large but provides a great robustness to the product. However, the size does cause problems if your USB slots are close together. Patriot have, however, thought of this and supplied a short extension cable in the package.

SOFTWARE:
Thankfully it is unencumbered by software that you need to install on your PC. Simply plug it in and away you go. No setup required.

VERDICT:
A fantastic product. The only issue you may have with it is the actual size of it due to the rubber. Other than that I can't fault it.

Dont believe the hype!
Initially the product looked pretty durable and robust but I had my doubts about the exposed USB connector. It functioned well, and communicated with all machines I used. The cap did not last too long, and soon after the exposed USB connector got damaged and it stopped functioning. A bit of a disappointment. An improvement may be to protect the connector in some way or allow it to rectract into the durable casing.

Tough 4GB USB memory stick
I would not usually review a generic product like this; a memory stick is a memory stick to some degree. However, what impressed me about this one other than the reliability and good speed was the tough rubber case that makes it really resistant to knocks, drops and being trodden on - which is pretty typical of the life of this sort of peripheral - most competitors have a hard plastic case that cracks under these pretty typical demands.
