Every time the individual Fire and Emergency Planning Authorities recruit for firefighters they are inundated with applicants. There are 58 fire brigades in the UK, and each brigade receives 800 to 1000 applications per year. The competition is intense and it is common for candidates to repeatedly fail.
This new book from testing expert Mike Bryon will help applicants to achieve their goal. It contains expert advice and support material relevant to each of the three main stages of the selection process: the initial application form and applicant questionnaire, the written and fitness tests, and the interview, team exercise and work related physical tests, plus photographs relevant to the observation test. Packed with hundreds of practice questions relevant to the written test, it also contains answers, explanations and interpretations of scores.

Not enough
This book does not have enough in it to warrent its title. There are sections of the recruitment process it does not even mention let alone help you prepare for. Found this book of little help.
